Apártate, Frida Kahlo, que llegó una nueva revolución.
Para nadie es secreto que estamos en una época donde, por fin, aceptamos lo fabulosas que se ven las cejas gruesas, abundantes y, sobre todo, al natural.
1. Cuando hablamos de “al natural” incluimos todos los tipos de ceja sin depilación, sí, incluso las “unicejas”, como las de la modelo Sophia Hadjipanteli, creadora del #UnibrowMovement.
2. El #UnibrowMovement es una iniciativa que celebra la belleza de las unicejas.
3. Porque por años las mujeres nos hemos estado deshaciendo de esos pelitos que conectan dos cejas como si se tratara del fin del mundo.
4. Viendo a estas chicas nos queda más que claro que podemos *NO seguir estándares de belleza*, y vernos fabulosas.
5. Si depilarte las cejas no es algo que te hace feliz, tenemos buenas noticias: no tienes por qué seguir haciéndolo.
6. Aceptarte tal y como eres empieza con las cosas más mínimas…
7. Y en apariencia física lo importante es que te sientas a gusto tú.
But what if we started a beauty revolution? What if we pushed back against the brainwashing of Hollywood and the media and proclaimed a new definition of beauty? What if our true beauty rested in simply being who we are, with the face and body we own, and joyfully embracing that every day? What if it was okay to have flaws, to be less-than-perfect—not only okay but actually preferred and even celebrated? When the focus is removed from our faces and bodies and how we don't measure up to impossible standards, then we're emotionally and psychologically free to express and explore who we are authentically, our true selves and our true beauty. It is still a work in progress for me, but I cannot tell you enough that the simple act of growing out my eyebrows last year gave me an unexpected freedom to indulge & love myself in a way that I never thought I could. I spent a lifetime focusing on all of my physical flaws, and it takes a real mind shift to reject all of the cultural messages and embrace that beauty is expressed from the inside out. If you accept the premise that “true beauty” is much more than having a model-perfect appearance, there are ways to begin retraining your thinking and igniting your own internal beauty revolution. So I encourage all of you, for today, to take a step back and pick something that you view as an imperfect flaw and give that perceived flaw three compliments. 9. Porque tener o no pelos entre las cejas no define quién eres.
10. Es momento de empezar a ignorar el vacuo “qué dirán” de aquellos que siempre critican lo diferente.
11. ¿Sabes cómo se llama el espacio entre tus dos cejas? GLABELA, y solo TÚ escoges si quieres que haya vellos ahí o no. Los haters que se vayan a dormir.
12. ¿Quieres romper estándares de belleza? Hazlo.
13. Es más, al no sacarte las cejas probablemente estés imponiendo una nueva tendencia… una con un poderoso mensaje.
14. La uniceja no solo es sinónimo de aceptación, también te da un toque de elegancia y sofisticación.
15. Puede ser que tus cejas se conecten por unos pocos pelitos…
16. O por muchos.

NO, it doesn’t make me any less beautiful. I have a unibrow, and all my life ive been put down for having it, but honestly, im over it. Lleva el mensaje y unidas apoyemos esta tendencia, así la lleves tú o no.
